Survey on Financial Behavior in Pakistan
Project Scope
This is a multi-country study on financial behaviour covering anzania, Kenya, Nigeria, Myanmar and Pakitan. The study is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and the project is being managed by Dalberg, a management and development consultancy firm. The survey aims to explore financial behavior, explore lifestyle, consumption and investment choices, and a set of socio-cultural behavioral characteristics.

AiD USA LLC is providing research design and data collection services to Dalberg in Pakistan. AiD is administering data collection for a sample of 3,180 surveys spread over 67 districts of Pakistan. The overall scope of services encompasses following key areas:

  • Designing of sampling approach
  • Review and translation of survey questionnaire
  • Training of gender-balanced field enumeration teams
  • Pilot testing of the survey tool and provide recommendations for any changes in the tool
  • Collection of data across 67 districts of the country
  • Quality assurance of data collection through spot checks and call backs
